Slough in the running for £50,000

Slough is in the running to access £50,000 from the Big Lottery Fund should it win a public vote on November 13th. The People's Millions fund is designed to enable communities to benefit from small projects across the whole country. Slough Borough Council has submitted a bid to create a water play area for families and young people in Salt Hill Park. ITV will be broadcasting a short film about the Slough project on the evening of November 13th. Also being shown at the same time is a short film about another project in Frimley. Whichever project secures the most public votes, which can be cast on that day, will be awarded the funding. Therefore Slough needs as many votes as possible to enable the funding to come the town so please vote for Slough on the 13th. Thank you for your anticipated support
